Hi John, This is Lena. I just wanted to thank you for a FANTASTIC wedding (June 4th at the Crescent). We had a great time as did all of our guests. People have been calling and asking for your number- which we gladly give out!
EVERYONE at the party commented on how wonderful the band was, most saying it was the best band they ever heard!

All Chris and I wanted for our wedding was for all of our guests and ourselves, to have a great time, dance, laugh, and have fun. Because of you guys, our night was a HUGE success!!

Hello John,

Its our two year anniversary and we wanted to say hello. We just wanted to let you know you are still thought of and we think you are the best. Everyone talked on how great your band is for weeks. If it wasn't for how great you were, the cake falling would have been a disaster.

Dear John -

I didn't want to wait any longer to write a formal letter. I really wanted to pass on from myself, Leon, and so many people at our Holiday Party our compliments on the quality of music performed by The Current Affair. As you know, Leon consistently requested that you keep it mellow, and considering the very business like atmosphere of the party, it was appropriate to do so. He was extremely happy with the service you provided. The Current Affair were absolutely the best choice we could have made. So many people have commented on the quality of your music even though you really weren't able to "show your stuff", as I had seen at a recent wedding. I adore your singers and the fact that each of you are multi-talented is awesome. I will definitely recommend you to anyone who needs live music. I certainly hope you made some contacts at our function because so many people loved the music.

Thank you again for being so flexible and for providing the absolutely perfect music ensemble we could have asked for at our party. Happy holidays and hopes for a very successful new year to The Current Affair.

Hi John:

It's been almost 5 years since Current Affair played at our wedding on October 24th, 1998. To this day I still can't get over how GREAT the band was. We've been to so many weddings before and after ours and your band was by far the best band we've EVER heard at a wedding. The weddings have slowed down for us quite a bit over the past few years, but whenever another one comes around we always recommend your band and pray that we get to see you again! We would love to be guests at an affair where Current Affair is performing to be able to enjoy it like all of our guests did at our wedding. I can't tell you how many comments people had after our wedding about how great the music was. I have to admit, we lucked out that your band was available in the short notice that we gave you (our engagement was less than a year and most good bands book up years in advance). I remember how discouraged we were getting when we started looking at bands, and all I have to say is thank G-d my friend Bethe recommended your band (she was blown away by you guys at a wedding that she had attended).

I just recently realized that you had this website - Michael happened to be playing the music over the computer the other night, and when I heard it from the other room I came running in - I was so excited to hear it. Needless to say I've listened to all of the clips on the website. I can't tell you how many times after our wedding we continued to play the demo tape that you sent to us before booking you (I'm surprised it's still in one piece).

There are a handful of songs that I hear on the radio that immediately make me smile and think of you.

I hope that you are all doing well.

They blew me away. Totally exceeded all my expectations. I am convinced that this band can sing ANYTHING and not mangle a single song. They did everything from Classic Dance (Sinatra, Dean Martin), to Classic Rock (Beatles), to standard wedding (Hot, Hot, Hot) and even an Italian duet that was SPECTACULAR.
The dance floor was never empty except for when people were seated to eat.
People are still raving about them to my parents, to me, to my in-laws, and to the groom. They were fabulous. I had no contact with John, the bandleader except for once, between when I saw them at a corporate function and on the day of the wedding. Every time I changed the format of the music, I would simply send him and e-mail. He always responded within a day.
I spoke to him 4 days before the wedding to confirm everything I wanted. It couldn't have been any easier. A STELLAR PERFORMANCE! YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS BAND

Hi John how are you? It has been over a year since you played at our wedding and we know that this letter is long over due.
Let us begin with the fact that people are still talking about our wedding and about how fabulous you were. From the moment we signed the contract until the very last song was played you made us feel so special. You took the time to learn our wedding song and a song that my husband dedicated to me. You really showed how much time and effort you take to make your performances absolutely outstanding.
